When I first saw the beautiful photos and fine detail of the Invicta watch, I was hooked. I then saw the fantastic discount over list, I decided to order the watch.
While this watch doesn’t use Swiss parts – they’re Japanese – that didn’t bother me, as I have owned other Japanese watches and had excellent results.
Upon receiving the box, I was very impressed with the beautiful yellow leather case holding the watch. When I put it on my wrist, I noticed that the watch was the heaviest wrist watch I had ever owned.
I noticed immediately that the watch was not keeping accurate time, losing several minutes a day. I also use the chronograph function routinely to measure timing of processes. The second time I used the stopwatch, the sweep second hand failed to line up with zero when reset. If it stayed off by the same amount, I may have been able to live with it. However, the problem kept getting worse.
I finally sent it back for a refund. Once again, the moral is to avoid falling for a pretty box.
Bought this as a gift and was very happy with the quality of the product. The functions are useful and all of the dials are easy to read. Was a bit concerned it might look gaudy. Just the opposite – it is really a striking watch.
